Commercial writers need to be versatile. I like to think of myself as a Swiss Army knife, only for text. I have written company biographies, magazines, press releases, bids, proposals, reports, speeches, books of various types.
More than specific experience I have integrated knowledge of how to make projects work. They say that knowledge is understanding that a tomato is a fruit but wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad. That’s me.
I have also written for radio (seven From Our Own Correspondent for BBC World Service) a documentary on the Monkees for Radio 1, lots of comedy sketches for the News Huddlines and Weekending on Radio 4.
In television I wrote Bear Gryll’s first television series ‘Escape to the Legion’.
If you use me you will get my full attention for your project. I am versatile and quick. I am also used to confidential documents.
